A Gift From God

The Artist
Reinvention is sometimes the only way forward. When the world went quiet, I went back to my roots.
Isaac Bullock Kintu — Kyakuwa Music
When the entertainment world went quiet — no stage lights, no live audience, no theatre — I went back to the drawing board, leaned into my Ugandan roots, and teamed up with Marlice Baart (co-writer) and DJ NLZ (producer). That is how Kyakuwa Music was born.
My name is Isaac Bullock Kintu. Kyakuwa is another name my mother gave me — it means "a gift from God."
I performed for a king when I was young, and the moment I tasted the stage, I was hooked. Sharing the stage with different artists keeps me learning new styles and pushing others to do the same.
"One Meter Fifty" — written by Isaac Bullock and Marlice Baart — won Best Social Causes Song of 2020 at the International Songwriting Competition.

Our Values
From humble beginnings to a flourishing network, our dedication to authenticity and diversity creates unforgettable experiences.
Real music, real connections. No playback, no pretense. Every note is felt, every moment is genuine. We believe in the power of live, unfiltered expression.
Bridging cultural divides through shared human experiences. Music is the universal language that connects us all — from Uganda to Amsterdam and beyond.
Connecting the dots with music while adding value. We do not just entertain — we transform events into experiences that inspire and uplift.
The Collective
"Interact to connect" — A network of 800+ musicians creating magic together.
In 2010, a group of 40 musicians and 200 music lovers gathered in Cafe Storing for an open session. Little did they know, this would be the start of something extraordinary.
"Most acts sell a setlist. We sell aliveness — the feeling in the room when something unexpected and beautiful happens live, in real time, with no safety net."
